Yarrabah Campaign students celebrate their graduation in July 2022. Did you know our classroom is in the local community rugby league club? That’s the oval in the background. We love it when kids hang out in our classrooms. Parents, family and other community members are all great role models for children. Seventeen students have now completed the Campaign in this small community, located over an hour from Alice Springs. Many were able to use their new skills to assist employment opportunities. Photo courtesy Emma Murray. Maria completed literacy classes in Tennant Creek in December 2022. During the second half of 2022 we had three classes running. Such a great result for Maria and the entire community. On Thursday December 15th, 2022, we held a graduation ceremony, in Yarrabah. What a way to end the year. Fifty students have now completed classes in Yarrabah. Congratulations everyone.
