Low literacy affects every aspect of life, from reading a medication label to helping your child with their homework.

Between 40-70% of Aboriginal adults in Australia have low English language literacy. In some locations it can be as high as 90%.

The good news is, there’s a way to turn things around.

Your donation will support local people leading adult literacy classes in their community.

We are an Aboriginal organisation working to lift adult literacy levels since 2012.

Over 460 Aboriginal adults have improved their literacy through our community-led training.

Many students sign up with the goal of reading to their kids.
