We are seeking a Contract Coordinator to join our dedicated team.
We are an Aboriginal-run charity that trains local people to deliver literacy classes in their communities. We use an innovative campaign approach that has been adopted in locations around the world with great success – since 2012, we’ve been proving it works in Australia too.
We also know lifting adult literacy levels in a community leads to a cascade of positive impacts. In fact, lifting adult literacy levels in Aboriginal communities has the potential to be the game-changer in tackling Indigenous disadvantage.
Position: Coordinate government and non government funding agreements.
Salary & conditions:
Base salary $85,000, plus superannuation

DUTIES:
Coordinate adherence to contract obligations including reporting and financial acquittals
Track budget performance on grants and fee for service contracts
Participate in contract negotiations
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors regarding their contracts and obligations
Liaise with pro bono legal support as required
Other duties as may be required by the Executive Director and leadership team.
NECESSARY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Excellent written communication skills
Financial and budgetary experience
Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
Experience in NGO administration or similar
Reports to the National Campaign Manager.
